So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish!
As you know, I have been blogging the past two years for Speakeasy Tattoo, be it tattoo-related information, news about what Speakeasy has been up to, and basically anything that pops up into my head. There have been an immeasurable amount of changes in my life since I started working here. I learned new things I never thought possible, met amazing people and made many new friends including you guys, my readers! Thank you for your support, and thank you for all the feedback! I would not be where I am today without your support. You guys are what help shape Speakeasy and make it happen.
I just wanted to thank Scott Glazier, the owner/creator of Speakeasy Tattoo, and my mentor, who took me in on this incredible journey. Although I screwed up many times(and I mean, 53,212,156,852,448 times), he kept kicking my ass to go forward and improve myself in every way. I acquired so much knowledge about painting, motorcycles, ships, tattooing, staying hydrated- in summary, the art of life. Subjects that I had never even thought of, or even considered learning. When I had times of self-doubt, his belief in me made me work harder to climb over that mountain, to keep pushing and bettering myself and my art.
Now, I would like to introduce Nicole Petrou, our new member here at Speakeasy, as I will be passing the torch of Speakeasy Blog to her. She is a very talented, incredible human being, so please give her a warm welcome, and look forward to what she has in store! Thank you for all your support!
